ECHO could use your computer.
ECHO provides refurbished computers to a select number of clients who have need for a computer. This is most often for school or work purposes.
If your computer is recent enough to have USB ports, then we can probably use it. We cannot refurbish Macs, however.
We can arrange to remove your hard drive and return it to you, if you wish (call the office if you will want to have the hard drive removed when you come in).
We can no longer handle any of the older CRT monitors nor any printer.
The ECHO procedure is to wipe the disks clean and then install a new operating system (provided at a very reduced cost by Microsoft).
More detailed guidelines for computer donations are here.
