DAY VOLUNTEERS

Counselors to assist families are needed; on-the-job training offered.  We need adults to accept and sort incoming donations of linens, clothing, and housewares, and to assist clients with their clothing and housewares needs.  Some heavy lifting may be required.  Hours are 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  Monday through Friday.  Call 703-569-9160 or Linda Greenlees at 703-250-3790.

EVENING AND/OR SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS

Adult volunteers are needed to accept and sort incoming donations of linens, clothing, and housewares, and to assist clients with their clothing and housewares needs.  Hours are 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and one Saturday a month from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon.  Call 703-569-9160 or Joyce Giuliani at 703-569-7370.

AFTERNOON FLEX TIME

Already scheduled is an every Monday and Wednesday 12:00 until 2:00 PM shift.  No clients are present, just a "catch up" time with whatever needs doing. Call ahead if you can volunteer.  Call 703-569-9160.

TEEN Volunteers 

Teens, 13 - 18, who need volunteer service hours, may volunteer, by appointment, at ECHO 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evenings.  Call Frank Elfring at 703-451-7298 or email him at felfring@bellatlantic.net.
  

SPECIAL GROUP PROJECTS

Youth groups and affiliated schools can run drives to collect new household goods; selected food items; athletic socks and underclothes for men, women, boys and girls in all sizes; and personal care items (especially those always in short supply).
