Can and Cannot Accept

ECHO CAN ACCEPT ONLY THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

Please leave only those items we can pass on to our clients, who are your neighbors.  Please do not leave items that are dirty, torn, worn, incomplete, need repair, or are out-of-date.  Please do not leave any items not on this list or listed on the "Items ECHO Cannot Accept" list.


ECHO CAN ACCEPT ONLY:

ITEMS ECHO CANNOT ACCEPT:

Appliances (small, clean and working) Yard sale leftovers 

Baby food:  unexpired and unopened

Broken  ANYTHING

Books (children’s ONLY)

Baby Car Seats,  Infant Swings, and Infant Walkers  

Cell phones (used)

Basketball Backboards, Toy Kitchens, Playhouses, Table & Chair Sets  

Children’s toys

 Adult Furniture and Major Appliances  (call American Rescue at 301-336-6200)  

Clothing items: spring/summer clothing through August Computer components without a computer
Computers:  Pentium 200 MZ or above (NO Apple computers) Fax machines
Computer components (printers, monitors, keyboards, scanners) ONLY if accompanied by a computer.

Large Rugs or Carpeting

Computer printers must be ink jet, not laser

Anything that attaches to walls or ceilings (curtain rods, lamps, shades, etc.)

Cribs

Exercise Equipment, Free Weights, & Bikes

Crutches

Magazines, Adult Books, Encyclopedias

Drapes Stereos, stereo components, vinyl records
Food: unopened and in perfect condition TV's larger than 21" diagonal 
Kitchenware Typewriters  
Knickknacks (collectibles ONLY) Clothes Hangers
