Occasionally we are asked how we would like donations to be separated. It is helpful to ECHO volunteers if donors will do a little presorting for us so here are some tips.
TIP #1: Smaller bags are easier to carry and sort-through than larger bags.
TIP #2: It would be very helpful to have the following items bagged separately according to these categories:
1. Food and personal items (toothbrushes, soap, razors, deodorant, etc.)
2. Towels, sheets, and comforters
3. Shoes
4. New items
5. Boy's and men's jeans
6. Children's clothing (It would help to label these bags "Children's Clothes")
